January 2009 The pack will provide bait and hot cocco. Spare fishing rigs are available. Cubs may complete the requirements for the fishing belt loop if they fish for about an hour and answer some fishing questions with either Chris Layeux or Jim Walker. Cubs should wear their uniform or a scouting T shirt to this event and should dress for the weather. Each den is asked to send a representative to the monthly planning meeting. This pack meeting will feature an indoor pack meeting with a skit or song from each den. Den Leaders and the Pack Committee will have a grand finale skit. Schedule of races for the Pinewood Derby will be available. This is a full dress uniform event. This is a one day winter day camp sponsored by the council. You must contact Jim Walker to register. A 1 to 8 ratio of adults to webelos, a 1:8 ratio of wolf and bear cubs, and a 1 to 1 ratio of adults to tiger cubs, is required. A minimum of two adults must attend. Adults and cubs have lots of fun. Siblings may not attend. The cost is $27 per cub and $9 per adult which includes a hot (indoor) lunch. The council never issues refunds. A car pool sign up will be available at the January Pack meeting. Cubs should wear their uniform or a scouting T shirt to this event and should dress for the weather.

February 2009 Cubs will race by age level with trophies being presented to the top three finishers at each age level. The top two finishers will race again in the pack finals. One trophy will be awarded for each age level for the kids choice car. Cubs should wear their full dress uniform for this event. Each den is asked to send a representative to the monthly planning meeting. This pack meeting will feature an environmental theme including a speaker. Cubs will make significant progress toward scouting environmental award. An all pack indoor game will be played. Webelos II cubs will be presented with their Arrow of Light award (the highest award in cub scouting). Webelos I cubs will cross over into Webelos II. There will be professional entertainment and refreshments. Leaders who have completed their term of service will be recognized. This is a full dress uniform event including neckerchief.
